More information

Citavi users in Bonn can derive great benefit by integrating the OpenURL of the Bonn linking service SFX in Citavi. This service allows you to check from within Citavi whether a document in Bonn is available electronically, in print form or via direct interlibrary loan.

To integrate the OpenURL in Citavi, follow the menu navigation Tools → Options → RSS/OpenURL, then enter the following URL (once only): https://hbz-ulb.userservices.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/openurl?institution=49HBZ_ULB&vid=49HBZ_ULB:DEFAULT&

The Windows version of Citavi gives you the choice of storing your generated data on the local system or the cloud.

By default, Citavi-Web stores all results in the cloud. This means that the data you have entered is processed outside the University of Bonn and is transmitted by the operator to the service providers/subcontractors listed under https://www1.citavi.com/sub/manual6/de/index.html?privacy_information.html.

Please be certain not to save any personal information about third parties beyond the scope of your bibliographical notes in the Citavi cloud.

The USL recommends storing your working results on your own terminal device and then also on a university drive or Sciebo as a backup.
