The USL's Citavi license has been successfully extended through January 1st, 2029. To apply the renewal to your personal license, update it.
Update Your Citavi License
Option 1: Via the activation link in the email
If you received an email from Citavi with the subject line “Citavi: Activate your new license now”, simply follow the link in the email to update your license.
Option 2: By confirming your university affiliation
You can also renew your Citavi license by confirming your membership with the University of Bonn in your Citavi account. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below:
- Log in to your Citavi account associated with the campus license at https://citaviweb.citavi.com.
- Select “Continue with university”, then choose “My university” and search for Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
- Log in with your Uni-ID.
- Open your profile by clicking on your picture or initials in the upper right corner (between “Change language” and “Help”).
- In the navigation menu on the left, go to “Licenses”.
- Select “Citavi Desktop & Web Bundle” with the validity period through 01/01/2029.
- On the right, you will be prompted to confirm your affiliation with the University of Bonn. Follow the link provided.
- You may be asked to log in via Shibboleth if this has not already occurred during your browser session.
- Please note that loading times may be longer. If the page remains blank, refresh your browser.
- Your license has now been successfully renewed.
