Starting with the 2026/27 winter semester, the University and State Library Bonn is expanding its course reserve service.
Teaching staff can set up course reserves with media from the Bonn USL collections for their courses.
New: Course reserves can now be set up at the Main Library, offering an alternative to setting them up at a departmental library.
Course reserves at the Main Library are located on the first basement level of the open stacks (see the map below).
Materials included in course reserves can be borrowed for use in the Reading Room. The loan period is one day, after which the materials are returned to their original location.
Additionally, books that are not yet part of the Bonn USL collections can be requested for inclusion in a course reserve.
