Access and orientation in the library
The library card is your ticket to the USL. You can easily apply online and integrate the digital library card smoothly into the Uni Bonn app.
To help you get started, we are offering several short introductory sessions in German or English at the Main Library and the MNL Branch Library from October 13th to 28th, 2025.

Book a Librarian allows University of Bonn students to arrange personal consultation appointments with one of our information team experts year-round, whether you have general questions about using the library or need help with specific research. Book a consultation using the registration form.
Our libraries offer a wide range of work and study spaces suitable for focused individual study or discussion in small groups. You can reserve spaces in advance online using our booking system (in German).
