The newly founded Open Science Community Bonn (OSCB) is an interdisciplinary community for researchers at the University of Bonn interested in learning about, discussing, and shaping open, transparent, and collaborative science. The community is supported by the Research Data Service Center and the Open Access Service Center at the Bonn University and State Library.
Open science means research is transparent, accessible, reproducible, and collaborative. It encompasses open publications, research data, methods, software, and educational resources.
The OSCB invites researchers from all disciplines to discuss open science and experience it firsthand.
The program includes a monthly Open Science Lunch, followed by coffee. Additional events, discussion forums, and workshops will follow.
