The German Research Foundation (DFG) has approved an application for its Open Access Publication Funding program filed by the USL on behalf of the University of Bonn. The DFG will be providing more than €1.7 million in funding for some 2,500 open-access articles from 2024 to 2026.
Reviewers were convinced by a concept designed to further increase cost transparency and the efficiency of funding structures with regard to open-access publications at the University in the coming years.
