University and State Library

Dr. Ulrich Meyer-Doerpinghaus

We at the Bonn University and State Library (USL) do our utmost to provide the students and staff at our University with the best possible support. As a state library for North Rhine-Westphalia, we have a duty to preserve the region’s cultural heritage and make it accessible to the public. The challenges posed by digitization are great, and we have opted to embrace a Chinese proverb in this regard: “When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.”
