You will need a valid library card in order to use our workspaces.

Main Library

MNL Branch Library

Make use of study spaces, video and working spaces, scanning stations, service PCs and group study pods in the Main Library.

Access to the Main Library

Starting in September 2025, to enter the Main Library, you will pass through an automated entry control gate in the entrance area.
Be sure to have your valid library card ready, either digitally in the Uni Bonn app or as a physical card.

The entry control system is operated by security staff. If you have any questions, please contact the loan department at leihstelle@ulb.uni-bonn.de or call 0228 73-7371.

Note on workstation reservations

Please only reserve a workstation for the time that you will actually be on site.
If you are not at your reserved workstation within 30 minutes of your reservation time, another user may take it. Read more about workstation reservations in the help section of the booking system (in German).
