Oxygen XML Editor

Oxygen XML Editor is a piece of software that provides a convenient way to create and edit XML files.

The software can be used in non-commercial teaching, for research programs and in course preparation and follow-up. It is employed in fields including the Digital Humanities.

Use is only permitted on campus. Staff and students at the University of Bonn are allowed to install the software on their personal computers for this purpose.

The University of Bonn has purchased two different licenses for using Oxygen XML Editor:

Permanent license

This license covers the installation of Oxygen XML Editor on department and institute computers within the campus network at the University of Bonn.

Please contact ebib@ulb.uni-bonn.de if you would like to install the software, and we will send you the necessary information.

Students' license

This license covers installation of Oxygen XML Editor on the personal computers of staff and students at the University of Bonn.

It is valid until the end of November 2023.

You can download installation instructions and the necessary license key from our download server using your Uni-ID.
