Corona: ULB introduces digitization service for urgent University demand Digitization service for urgently needed literature available as of April 3, 2020.

In line with the specifications of the Robert Koch Institute to support the containment of coronavirus infections, the ULB has ceased the loaning of books. Due to increasing demand for analog literature, however, starting Friday, April 3, we provide a digitization service for researchers and students of the University of Bonn.

Please be aware that this digitization service will only be able to serve the most urgent of requests as nearly all ULB employees work from home while the coronavirus social distancing and hygiene regulations remain in place.

Given these limitations, until further notice, only students and researchers who are about to complete a higher academic degree (i.e. Master’s degree or higher) and who need to submit an assignment by a fixed deadline will be able to draw on support of this service. Thank you for your understanding. We will extend this offer as soon as possible. The ULB subject librarians will be pleased to answer any questions representatives of individual subjects may have.

Yours,
The ULB team
